HGI Pearland features the fabulous “Remembrance Pear”. A project of the Pearland Convention & Visitors Bureau, the Pear-Scape Trail features 20 artistic 4’ size fiberglass “pears” painted by local artists positioned throughout the City. The mission is to promote tourist related activity within Pearland in developing a public Pear Art Sculpture Trail as a cultural tourism attraction.
The “Remembrance Pear” was created by local artist Sherri Harris.
“Year after year I am in awe at how the community of Pearland never forgets those who have lost their lives, so that we may continue to live free! This Pear is dedicated to those who have fallen and to the community Pearland who “Never Forget.” The American Flag supported by the Texas Flag – represents those from the community who supported the country in its time of need.”
